The Irish model Katy French, who fell into a coma on Sunday, has died in hospital.
A family statement said: "We have been overwhelmed by the letters, blessings, gifts and prayers
from people all over the country.
"It gave us strength and helped Katy so much.
"Although we did not get our yearned for miracle, all the expressions of love you sent her were
powerfully healing in different ways.
"And we hope that you can continue to send your love to her as she journeys on."
The theory of katy's death being drug related are mere speculation at present,however if confirmation is aired then yes,it would be a 'valid deterant' for youngsters,unfortunatly she will be another statistic with more youngsters following behind her..

Hi, just wanted to give my condolences to Katy's family and just say that even though I've never met Katy I've always thought she was a lovely woman who had great compassion and a vigour for life. I loved your article every week and nearly always agreed with you, no matter how outrageous :) . Rest in peace Katy. xx

why would you feel the need to write that? this girl MAY have made some bad choices in her life but she was still someones daughter. have a heart! r.i.p

katy u are going to be sadly missed by those who loved u and never forgotten by those who didnt..u are now an angel in heaven..it breaks my heart that u never got to say goodbye properly to ur family..their baby has been taken away from them in a very cruel way..may u rest in peace and watch over everyone..xxxxxxxxxx
